Abstract
The level of theft in residential areas is still very disturbing. This is due to the high level of poverty every year. The cause is due to the lack of employment opportunities in the residential area. A home security system is very much needed and must have a good security system. Therefore, this study designs a home security system based on esp32cam and the blynk application to control via cellphone. Camera-based security technology is very much needed as an additional security tool to monitor and record every suspicious movement in the home environment. So that homeowners can monitor and monitor every movement in real-time through the blynk application. This security system uses ESP32Cam to display real-time video streaming and take pictures, a PIR sensor that functions to detect movement, an LDR sensor that functions to detect light and a relay to control automatic lights. There is a sound alert feature where there are several different sounds that have been stored on the SD Card that can be activated via blynk. From the testing of the tool above, it can be concluded that the tool can detect movement with a distance of up to approximately 3 meters, if in dark conditions and there is movement, the lights will automatically turn on and help with lighting. This security system can be used as an innovative security technology solution so that homeowners can be comfortable and calm when they are inside or outside the house.
