Abstract

JMS (Jarwo Multimedia Sound) is a company that is engaged in sound system rental services, usually used for wedding parties, religious studies, campaigns, etc. Rentals must be adjusted to the schedule and price that has been agreed upon from the start. Based on observations made, JMS Sound Audio is still lacking in delivering information and promotions to customers. To solve this problem, an Information System design is needed that facilitates the delivery of information about prices and equipment rented by JMS Sound Audio to customers. The design of the JMS Sound Audio Rental Information System is an important step so that the delivery of information can run effectively and efficiently. The goal is to expand online reach, improve operational efficiency and provide a superior customer experience, to support business competitiveness in the digital era. In the system development process, the Waterfall method is used, with the PHP programming language, utilizing the Laravel framework version 10, and the MySQL database, and the author conducted System Usability Scale (SUS) testing and also conducted black-box testing. With the website, it is expected to make it easier for customers to see the price list and also the tools provided at prices determined by JMS Sound Audio. The results of black-box testing show that the system has run well in terms of input and output. Meanwhile, the SUS test involving 35 respondents produced an average score of 74.21429 which indicates that the system is included in the ACCEPTABLE category with GRADE SCALE C and a GOOD rating.
