Abstract

Land transportation plays an important role in shipping goods in Indonesia, especially in Central Java. CV. Akasia Logistik, based in Sukoharjo, faces challenges in managing truck rentals due to increasing demand from the public and industry. This study aims to design and implement a web-based truck rental information system to improve operational efficiency and expand promotional networks at a more cost-effective cost. The method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model, with testing through blackbox testing and System Usability Scale (SUS). The result of the system research can run well which is expected to make it easier for admins and users in the ordering process. Testing show that the developed system is valid in blackbox testing, while the usability test scored 72 (Good category), indicating that the system can be accepted and used effectively.
