Abstract
Earthquake load is a force acting on a structure due to ground movement by an earthquake, which can affect the stability of the structure. Lightweight concrete with foam agent is chosen to reduce the weight of the structure so that it can reduce the earthquake load on the building. In addition, precast concrete slabs are studied to reduce construction time and labor requirements, so that they can reduce overall construction costs. The method used is a laboratory experiment, with compressive strength, flexural strength, stiffness, and live load support tests of concrete slabs. The test objects consisted of cylindrical concrete with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm and a concrete slab with a combination of normal concrete and 3% foam agent concrete with a length of 125 cm, a width of 40 cm and a height of 10 cm with a design quality of 25 MPa at the age of 28 days. The results of the compressive strength test of BSN cylindrical concrete were 25.408 MPa and BSF 3% was 12.534 MPa. The stiffness of the BPF 3% concrete slab was 221.984 N/mm and KBPNF 3% was 340.481 N/mm. The flexural strength value of the BPF 3% concrete slab is 935906 N.mm and the KBPNF 3% is 1390344 N.mm. The results of the live load calculation of the BPF 3% concrete slab are 1.298 kN/m2 and the KBPNF 3% is 2.439 kN/m2 suitable for use on office building floors with a minimum live load of 2.40 kN/m2. By combining normal concrete and lightweight concrete, it provides adequate stiffness to support live loads without sacrificing structural stability.
