Abstract
Today's manufacturing industry is experiencing material progress and has several innovations. Automobiles, appliances, trains, aerospace, ships, and construction products require large amounts of metal raw materials, especially aluminum. When production increases, it must be equipped with high quality product components. This research aims to determine the morphological results of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) on aluminum 6061 material after undergoing treatment using carbon and decorative carbon nickel-chrome particles. Al-C shows the results of the highest carbon content value in the first spot with a time of 3 hours with a value of 24.352% by weight, the lowest carbon content in the second spot with a time variation of 2 hours with a value of 10.171% by weight. The results of the highest nickel content value are in the first spot of 3 hours with a value of 0.036% by weight, the lowest nickel content is in the first spot of the 2 hour variation with a value of 0.028% by weight, the highest chromium content is in the first spot of the 3 hour variation with a value 0.041% Weight, the lowest content is in the first spot of the 3 hour time variation with a value of 0.031% Weight.
