Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between eye-hand coordination and concentration on petanque shooting ability in Boyolali Regency. The population and sample in this study were 10 petanque athletes in Boyolali Regency with a total sampling technique. Data collection used the test and measurement method of eye-hand coordination (Tennis ball throwing and catching test), concentration (Grid Concentration Test), and petanque shooting ability (Shooting game test). Data analysis used correlation analysis using SPSS 23.0 software. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between eye-hand coordination and concentration with petanque shooting ability in petanque athletes in Boyolali Regency. The correlation coefficient between these variables is 0.920 or 92.0%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the hypothesis stating that there is a relationship between eye-hand coordination and concentration with petanque shooting ability in petanque athletes in Boyolali Regency. Therefore, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
