Abstract
Cutting speed in oxyfuel cutting, CNC plasma cutting, and CNC laser cutting greatly affects the accuracy and roughness of the cutting results of JIS G3101 SS400 plates. Therefore, research is needed to analyze the cutting results of oxyfuel cutting machines, CNC plasma cutting, and CNC laser cutting using JIS G3101 SS400 plates with a thickness of 5 mm, the cutting results are measured using a CMM machine and tested with a surface roughness tester. This study aims to determine the level of accuracy and average roughness of the cutting results of oxyfuel cutting machines, CNC plasma cutting, and CNC laser cutting at cutting speed variations of 1 m/minute and 2 m/minute. The analysis of the results of this study will discuss the effect of cutting speed on oxyfuel cutting, CNC plasma cutting, and CNC laser cutting at CV Kembar Teknika. In this study, when viewed from the level of accuracy, the cutting results using a cutting speed of 2 meters/minute will get maximum dimensional results for oxyfuel cutting, CNC plasma cutting, and CNC laser cutting results. But when viewed from the average surface roughness level, the cutting results using a cutting speed of 1 m/min get the maximum average surface roughness results for oxyfuel cutting results. While the cutting results using a cutting speed of 2 m/min get the maximum average surface roughness results for CNC plasma cutting and CNC laser cutting results.
