Abstract

Traditional health services are one of the options within the health care system in Indonesia. Patient interest in visiting traditional health services is influenced by various factors, including socio-economic characteristics and patient attitudes. This study aims to determine the correlation between socio-economic characteristics and attitudes with general patients' interest in visiting traditional health services at Sawit Community Health Center, Boyolali Regency. This research uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach conducted from January to December 2024. The study sample consisted of 95 respondents selected using systematic random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, and data analysis was performed using person product moment Correlation test and Chi Square test. The study results show that there is a correlation between income and interest in visits (p < 0.05) with a weak strength (-0.231) and a negative correlation direction. To increase public interest in visiting traditional healthcare services, it is recommended that health centers enhance their promotional efforts by considering the economic characteristics of the community, especially housewives and low-income groups.
