Abstract

Wonogiri Regency has attractive natural potential in the field of tourism, but many of its tourist attractions have not been well managed by the local government, so they are less known to tourists due to a lack of information. The lack of tourist attraction information causes a decrease in the number of visitors, because tourists find it difficult to understand the attractiveness, facilities, accessibility, and potential. An effective solution is promotion through the internet, especially by utilising a GIS-based website to present information interactively and informatively. This research aims to 1) Analyse the development of the potential and attractiveness of Wonogiri Regency tourist attractions using SWOT analysis and 2) Developing tourist attraction information with a WebGIS system to support the potential of tourist attractions in Wonogiri Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with scoring techniques and conducting field surveys accompanied by interviews of managers and visitors from each of the six attractions. Furthermore, SWOT analysis was carried out for the development of tourist attractions. The results of the research obtained are that there are 2 classes, namely a high class potential score at Sendang Siwani and Nampu Beach attractions, a medium potential score for Melati Waterfall, Muncar Temple, Soko Langit, and Karang Payung Beach. Information on the potential and attractiveness of Wonogiri tourism objects is visualised interactively and informatively through WebGIS, which can be accessed through the link https://webgiswisatawonogiri.my.id/ using a smartphone or laptop.
