Abstract
This research aims to describe the conditions of the school before the existence of digital learning media, (2) Describing constraints faced by the school to implement digital media at school, and (3) Describing the impact of implementing the use of Augmented Reality-based Ethnomath GeoFun learning media in Geometry Mathematics learning This study was a qualitative study with a case study design. Data were obtained through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this research are. The subjects of this study were the 4th-grade mathematics teacher and 4th-grade students in Gonilan Kartasura. The data validity was tested using triangulation techniques, namely triangulation of sources and methods. The data analysis techniques involved several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing a conclusion. The results of the study show that the use of digital media of Augmented Reality-Based Ethnomath GeoFun in learning Geometry Mathematics has a positive impact on students' mathematical understanding. The implementation of Augmented Reality-based GeoFun Ethnomathematics learning media has an influence and a good impact on geometry learning in Elementary Schools, including (1) Increasing student motivation and involvement during the teaching and learning process, (2) Developing student collaborative skills, (3) Increasing creativity in answering the questions, (4) Helping to explore students' mathematical understanding abilities, and (5) Stimulating student memory with content visualization. This study is important in improving students' understanding and interest in learning mathematics of geometry materials by using the Augmented Reality-based Ethnomath Geofun.
