Abstract

This research aims to analyze the determinants of economic development in Greater Solo Raya in 2015 - 2020. Regional spending, investment, human development index (HDI), and population are independent variables. Economic growth as the dependent variable. This type of research is quantitative. This research was conducted in the Solo Raya area (Surakarta, Boyolali, Sukoharjo, Sragen, Karanganyar, Wonogiri, and Klaten) with a research period of 6 years, namely from 2015 to 2020 with the data source from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical method used in this research is panel data regression analysis using Eviews 10. The results of the research show that regional expenditures has a significant effect on economic growth, population has a significant effect on economic growth. Investment does not have a significant effect on economic growth. The human development index (HDI) does not have a significant effect on economic growth.
