Abstract

The interview result with the assistant principal of academic affairs and curriculum at SMA Plus Al Fatimah shows that 81% of teachers do not print out the learning instruments. It makes the principal difficult in verifying and validating the learning instruments. This shows that the management of learning instruments at SMA Plus Al Fatimah has not been maximal and effective. This research is aimed to (1) describe the management of the learning instruments at SMA Plus Al Fatimah, (2) develop a web-based information system to manage the learning instruments, (3) determine the feasibility of a web-based information system to manage the learning instruments at SMA Plus Al Fatimah. The design of this research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model and involving 26 teachers of SMA Plus Al Fatimah as research subjects. The result shows that the feasibility test obtained from the expert validation toward this web-based information system got 4.0 or 80% with a decent category; while the feasibility limited test by five teachers got an average score of 4.5 or 90% with a very decent category. And the feasibility test by 26 teachers got an average score of 4.49 or 90% with a very decent category. It can be concluded that this web-based information system is suitable for managing the learning instruments at SMA Plus Al Fatimah. It is also suggested to develop this web-based information system further to manage other forms of learning instruments. Keywords: Learning Instruments, Information System, Web
