Abstract

This study aims to describe the marketing strategy and marketing constraints to increase the number of sales of Wahyu Jati Furniture in Panekan Village, Magetan Regency, East Java. This research is a type of qualitative research with an analytical descriptive research design. This study uses primary and secondary data, which were obtained based on information, places, and events. The subject of this research is the owner of the Wahyu Jati furniture business. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews. In analyzing the data, the researcher used an interactive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the marketing strategy carried out by Wahyu Jati Furniture's business in Panekan Village is a targeting strategy by trying to improve the quality of production, determine the target market and strive to establish good relationships with consumers. Market positioning strategy with market positioning, Wahyu Jati Furniture business unit in Panekan Village, Magetan Regency, East Java can also affect sales. The promotion strategy with the Wahyu Jati Furniture business unit communicates directly to potential consumers when consumers come to the store and promote it on Facebook social media. One of the obstacles in implementing the marketing strategy in improving the Wahyu Jati Furniture Business Unit in Panekan Village, Magetan Regency, East Java is the Covid-19 pandemic, the public's interest in furniture has decreased, so the Wahyu Jati Furniture Business Unit has difficulty increasing furniture sales during the covid pandemic. -19.
