Abstract
This study aims to: 1) Describe the students' interest in learning mathematics at the Darul Hijrah Islamic boarding school. 2) Describe the learning outcomes of the Darul Hijrah Islamic boarding school students. 3) Knowing and analyzing the relationship between interest in learning mathematics and learning outcomes. The population of this study was the entire class VIII santriwati at the boarding school darul hijrah putri in Sukoharjo. This quantitative descriptive study studied 68 selected santriwati and is a population study using a saturated sampling technique. The data in this study is in the form of data on interest in learning mathematics santriwati with mathematical learning results (Y), data interest in learning mathematics (X) obtained using non-test techniques in the form of questionnaires, and data on mathematical learning outcomes (Y) obtained from documentation. The data was analyzed using correlation analysis with α=0,5. The results of the data analysis showed that: (i) in general 16% of students had an interest in learning mathematics in high categories, 69% with moderate categories, and 15% in low categories; (ii) in general 19% of students have high-grade math learning outcomes, 66% with moderate categories, and 15% in low categories; (iii) The results of the hypothesis test obtained r_hitung 0.417 > 0.235 r_tabel with significance (α=0,5), this indicates that the H_0rejected and H_(1 ) accepted, which means it is true that there is a relationship between the interest in learning mathematics and the results of learning mathematics of class VIII students of Darul Hijrah Boarding school with a relatively low relationship level.
