Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of business units, investment, provincial minimum wage, and education on the demand for labor in small and medium industries in the provinces of Java in 2014–2019. The analytical method used is panel data regression with Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The results showed that the number of business units, investment and education had a positive and significant effect on the demand for labor in small and medium industries in Java in 2014–2019. Meanwhile, the provincial minimum wage proved to have no significant effect on the demand for labor in small and medium industries.
