Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and public service motivation for job satisfaction in the Health Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS) Surakarta City Branch Office. The sample in this study amounted to 111 employees at BPJS Surakarta Branch using a questionnaire for data collection. The sampling technique used is probability convenience sampling method. The data analysis technique uses path regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Work Life Balance has a negative and significant effect on public service motivation 2) Work Life Balance has a negative effect on job satisfaction. 3) Public service motivation has an influence on job satisfaction. 4) public service motivation (tcount=-3.2984) can mediate the influence work life balance for job satisfaction.
