Abstract

In this time of pandemic, it is very necessary in the economic field. Therefore, some mothers who initially became housewives, are now starting to turn into career women. At first her role was to take care of the household and educate her children, now mothers have a social role in the community with their careers in any field of procession. It makes researchers interested in conducting this research to find out the role of career women in educating children's morals. Where moral education in the family is very important for the formation of children's character and is useful when their children become adults. The purpose of this study is how the role of career women in educating children's morals in families in the Sumber village, Banjarsari district, Surakarta City and what are the obstacles faced by career women in carrying out their role in educating children's morals in the family. The research method used is descriptive qualitative type, where the researcher interviews and makes factual and accurate questionnaires with words about the facts or phenomena being investigated. Obtained using data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation studies. Then analysed in the form of a descriptive description. From the results of the study, it was concluded that career women played their role in educating children's morals in their families. Starting from the child in the womb, during birth, childhood and adolescence. Constraints faced by career women in educating children's morals are limited time because they are divided by their work, limited energy, and lack of communication between their children. Moreover, their work must be brought home, and even during this pandemic, career women carry out their work as well as take care of housework.
