Abstract

Pembelajaran jarak jauh merupakan salah upaya agar pendidikan tetap berjalan dalam situasi darurat seperti pada saat ini dalam masa pandemic Covid-19. Dalam hal ini pendidikan harus tetap berjalan terlebih penanaman karakter, sebab melihat semakin menurunya nilai karakter pada diri setiap siswa. Hal ini cukup telihat dimasyarakat luar yang mana anak semakin susah untuk dikontrol dan seakan semakin tidak memiliki aturan dalam berperilaku ataupun bersikap. Ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya nilai karakter dalam dirimnya dan kurangnya penanaman karakter pada diri siswa. Maka dari itu SMP N 1 Kerjo tetap berupaya untuk tidak melupakan penanaman karakter pada siswanya dengan harapan siswa tidak kehilangan pegangan atau norma dalam perperilaku atau bersikap baik untuk dirinya sendiri maupun dalam lingkungan sekitarnya. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui bagaimana proses pelaksanaan pembinaan karakter pada pembelajaran jarak jauh di SMP N 1 Kerjo dan apa saja kendala yang dialami pada saat proses pelaksanaan pembinaan karakter pada pembelajaran jauh. Penelitian bersifat kualitatif, dengan mengambil tempat dan subjek penelitian di SMP N 1 Kerjo. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian untuk analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga cara yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi data. Sedangkan untuk memastikan keabsahan data yang diperoleh, dilakukan dengan triangulasi. Adapun hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu :1). Bahwa SMP N 1 Kerjo tetap melaksanakan pembinaan karakter pada saat pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hal ini dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan segala alat komunikasi yang ada yaitu dengan Whatshap, dan mengikuti kajian di sekiat tempat tinggal peserta didik. Hal ini dilakukan dengan harapan agar siswa tetap terbiasa menerima pembinaan karakter secara maksimal. 2). Kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembinaan karakter yaitu terdapat dua faktor yaitu secara internal dan eksternal. Adapaun yang faktor internal yaitu dari diri siswa sendiri seperti timbulnya rasa malas, dan keterbatasan dalam hal fasilitas. Kemudian yang faktor eksternal berasal dari lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan social, dan lingkungan pendidikan. ABSTRACT Distance learning is an effort to keep education running in emergency situations such as at this time during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this case, education must continue to run, especially the cultivation of character, because it sees the decreasing value of character in each student. This is quite evident in the outside community where children are increasingly difficult to control and seem to have no rules in behaving or behaving. This is caused by the lack of character values ​​in him and the lack of character instilling in students. Therefore, SMP N 1 Kerjo continues to strive not to forget the inculcation of character in its students with the hope that students do not lose their grip or norms in behavior or be good for themselves and in the surrounding environment. This study aims to find out how the process of implementing character development in distance learning at SMP N 1 Kerjo and what obstacles are experienced during the process of implementing character building in distance learning. The research is qualitative, taking the place and subject of the research at SMP N 1 Kerjo. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. Then the data analysis was carried out in three ways, namely data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions or data verification. Meanwhile, to ensure the validity of the data obtained, triangulation is carried out. The research results obtained are: 1). That SMP N 1 Kerjo continues to carry out character building during distance learning. This is done by utilizing all existing communication tools, namely WhatsApp, and following studies around the students' residences. This is done with the hope that students remain accustomed to receiving maximum character development. 2). Constraints faced in the implementation of character building are two factors, namely internally and externally. As for the internal factors, namely from the students themselves such as the emergence of a sense of laziness, and limitations in terms of facilities. Then the external factors come from the family environment, social environment, and educational environment. Keywords:Character Development, distance learning
