Abstract

Activeness is one of the characteristics that must be possessed by every student in learning activities, this is necessary because activity is a necessary factor to achieve learning goals. And during the corona outbreak that spread in Indonesia, lecturers were less than optimal in monitoring the active side of students because learning had to be done online. There are several LMS used during online learning, one of which is schoology. Therefore, the researcher wants to analyze the level of student activity in the economics mathematics course during online learning based on schoology. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of student activity in the economics mathematics course during online learning based on schoology and to assess how the application of LMS schoology as a learning medium. This type of research is qualitative research and the method used is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data were obtained from filling out questionnaires and interview results that had previously been validated by experts. The analysis stage was carried out after the subject, namely 38 students who took the economics mathematics course, filled out the questionnaire. From the results of the filling, it can be concluded that the average level of student activity is in the high category. Then the researcher conducted interviews with 5 students to deepen and strengthen the results of the questionnaire analysis. After analyzing the results of questionnaires and interviews, the following research results were obtained: 1. The level of student activity in economics mathematics courses during online learning based on schology is in the high category. 2. The application of schoology as a learning platform is considered sufficient
