Abstract
This research has three objectives. First, describe affective assessment planning in thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in elementary schools. Second, describe the implementation of affective assessment in thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in elementary schools. Third, describe the use and follow-up of affective assessment results in thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in elementary schools. This type of research is a qualitative description. The object of this research study is an affective assessment in thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SD Negeri Purbayan 02, Baki sub-district, Sukoharjo district, SD Negeri Gentan 01, Baki sub-district, Sukoharjo district, and SD Negeri Kadilangu 01, Baki sub-district, Sukoharjo district. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, documentation and observation. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study in terms of planning affective assessment in thematic learning for class V at SD Negeri Purbayan 02, SD Negeri Gentan 01, and SD Negeri Kadilangu 01, the teacher formulates learning indicators and PBKB which contains value components, determines the aspects assessed, chooses techniques assessment to be used and develop a value assessment instrument. Aspects that will be assessed include the value of the spirit of learning, way of thinking, discipline, cooperation, activity, attitude, perseverance, responsibility, commitment, and thoroughness. The technique used is in the form of observations or observations with instruments in the form of observation sheets that are used when online learning takes place through electronic media. The teacher informs the affective aspects that will be assessed and the techniques that will be used to the students. In terms of implementing affective assessment activities in fifth grade thematic learning in Negeri Purbayan 02, SD Negeri Gentan 01, and SD Negeri Kadilangu 01, teachers tend to have not carried out affective assessment activities according to the plan. The assessment carried out by the teacher is fair but does not meet the objective principle. The reinforcement given by the teacher to the students' affective abilities is in the form of praise, reprimand and advice. Utilization and follow-up of affective assessment results in fifth grade thematic learning at SD Negeri Purbayan 02, SD Negeri Gentan 01, and SD Negeri Kadilangu 01 tend to be utilized and followed up for three purposes, namely being used to provide feedback to students directly during online learning, used as a basis for reporting to parents and used by teachers to evaluate online learning activities that have been implemented.
