Abstract
Education is a process that includes communities, individuals, and individuals of society that correspond to reality. Not only teaching, but also as a transfer of science, value transfer and character formation according to its aspects. Pandemic covid 19 that requires all activities to be carried out online. And it requires teachers to be more creative. The purpose of this thesis research is to find out how effective the use of online-based learning media in Fiqh subjects in Muhammadiyah 8 Wonogiri Junior High School. Using this type of field research and qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection uses interview, observation and documentation methods. While data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion withdrawal. The findings show that: 1) The implementation of online learning in Fiqh subjects at Muhammadiyah 8 Wonogiri Junior High School is carried out using the WA group application because according to teachers is the most effective tool. 2) The effectiveness of Fiqh learning outcomes in utilizing online media has been quite effective, because all students have achieved KKM and received a good response from parents / guardians of students.
