Abstract
Advertising is a form of method or method to promote a product, both goods and services, which is carried out by a business actor to attract attention and to be known by many people. This study aims to determine how legal protection for consumers of beverage product advertising. This study uses a Doctrinal (Normative) approach. Using this type of descriptive research. The results showed that there were several advertisements that were in accordance with statutory regulations and there were also some advertisements that were not in accordance with the statutory regulations which were described in several categorizations including Categorization I Not Using Excessive Words, Category II Not Misleading or Not Misleading Consumers (Misleading), category III Does not Offend Feelings, Degrading Dignity, Religion, Culture, Tribe and Group, categorization IV Notifies the Identity of Name and Address to Consumers, categorization V Lack of Information Regarding Prices, categorization VI Showing Violence, categorization VII Containing Uncertain Promises, VIII categorization Inclusion of Halal Labels on Food Ads.
