Abstract
Physical fitness including physical fitness or called physical fitness is the ability and ability of the human body to carry out adjustments regarding physical loading without causing excessive fatigue. The components of physical fitness related to health and skills include cardiorespiratory, endurance, muscle endurance, muscle strength, and body composition. Given how important physical fitness is for humans during the current COVID-19 new-normal pandemic, it cannot be separated from various factors that can affect a person's physical fitness to be able to improve perfectly. The current COVID-19 pandemic has hit all countries with a pandemic nature. Factors that influence the physical fitness of students at Peleman 2 Elementary School, Gemolong District, Sragen Regency During the Pandemic Period, namely many students who do not have adequate movement patterns, there is a sense of individual indifference in carrying out sports activities during the New-Normal Pandemic. . Thus, the aim of the researcher to take the research with the title "Analysis of Physical Fitness Levels of Children aged 6-9 Years at State Elementary School 2 Peleman, Gemolong District During the Pandemic" which aims to determine the level of physical fitness of children aged 6-9 years at SDN 2 Peleman, Gemolong, Sragen, during the current new-normal pandemic. This research is classified as a quantitative descriptive research. The instruments and techniques used for data collection are the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) for children aged 6-9 years issued by the Ministry of National Education (Kemendiknas) in 2010. The sampling technique uses the Purposive Sampling method. Samples were taken as many as 69 students, whose physical fitness level is not yet known during the new normal pandemic at this time. By using the test and measurement procedures from the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJII) the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test is measured by measuring 5 test items. The technique in data collection used is the test method with the TKJI form instrument. The analysis used in this research is using the percentage formula. In the final result, the total number of tests that the students have taken is to give a classification of the level of physical fitness that has been obtained by the students, using the listed norms.
