Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and the work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable for the MSME employees in the gaming sector in Wonogiri. This research is expected to be a guide for MSME managers in determining the factors that can improve employee performance. This type of research is quantitative research and uses primary data. The sample used in this study were 60 respondents. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that 1) Compensation has no significant effect on employee performance 2) Work environment has a significant effect 3) Compensation has a significant effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable 4) Work environment has a significant effect on employee performance with job satisfaction as intervention variable.
