Abstract

Coronary heart disease is a non-communicable disease which is the number one cause of death in the world every year. Objective: to describe the quality of life in coronary heart patients. Methods: this research uses quantitative research using a descriptive design with a survey approach. The population of this study were patients with coronary heart disease at the Cardiology Clinic of Sebelas Maret University Hospital as many as 379 people. The technique of using the sample in this study is Accidental sampling, obtained a large sample of 87 respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire. The measuring instrument uses the MacNew QLMI quality of life questionnaire as many as 27 questions. Analysis of the data used is Univariate. Results: the majority of the quality of life of outpatients at the Cardiology Clinic of Sebelas Maret University Hospital is good and a small proportion is poor. Quality of life is influenced by several factors from age, gender, occupation, marriage, history of surgery, spirituality. Conclusion Most of the quality of life in the Cardiology Clinic of Sebelas Maret University Hospital is good.
