Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic has many impacts on various sectors, especially the business sector. Leaders must re-adjust company’s regulations due to a decrease productivity caused by: 1) Restrictions on activities; 2) Restriction of working hours; and 3) Work from home. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between transformational leadership style and employees performance during the covid 19 pandemic. The type of research used is quantitative correlation with questionnaire which were distributed to 104 employees of pharmaceutical company located in Surakarta. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Product moment analysis method is used to determine the relationship between two variables. The result shows that there is no positive relationship between the two variables with a correlation coefficient value (r) of 0.070 with p = 0.239 (p <0.05).
