Abstract
School-age children need adequate nutrition. Nutrition greatly affects the activity of school children to learn. In the school-age child phase, children begin to follow what their friends do. Children begin to recognize various types of food, therefore children need to be supervised in food selection. Child development at this time is greatly influenced by the fulfillment of nutrition. School-age children will need fewer calories but the child's appetite will continue to increase. This study aims to find out the Picture of Eating Behavior in School-Age Children During the Pandemic. This research is quantitative research using descriptive analytical research design and using survey method research was conducted in Walikukun Village, Ngawi in January 2021- February 2021. The population in this study was school-age children in Walikukun village which amounted to 874 children. this research sample became 99 school-age children in the village environmentWalikukun, Ngaw sampling techniques with simple random sampling. The results showed that Eating Pleasure (EF) was dominated by good eating behavior as many as 64 respondents (64.6%). Emotional overeating (EOE) showed respondents were dominated by less eating behavior as many as 52 respondents (52.5%). Satiety Responsiveness (SR) respondents were dominated by eating behaviors enough as many as 45 respondents (45.5%). The slowness of eating (SE) respondents was dominated by less eating behavior as many as 69 respondents (69.7%). The desire to drink (DD) respondents was dominated by good eating behavior as many as 66 respondents (66.6%). Food Fuss (FF) respondents were dominated by eating behaviors enough as many as 44 respondents (44.4%). Emotional Undereating (EUE) respondents were dominated by moderate eating behaviors of 44 respondents (44.4%). Food Responsiveness (FR) respondents were dominated by eating behaviors enough as many as 35 respondents (35.4%).
