Abstract
Interference is a language error caused by the influence of another language that is often used so that it affects the use of other languages in the form of phonological, morphological, syntactic, and lexical influences. This research was conducted to describe/analyze the interference of Javanese into Indonesian in the compositions of seventh grade students of SMP. The aims of this study are (1) to find out the forms of interference from Javanese into Indonesian in students' descriptive essays. (2) Can find out what factors are the cause of language interference. This study uses a descriptive method to describe the interference of Javanese into Indonesian in the essays of seventh grade students of junior high school in the form of Indonesian words or vocabulary in Javanese in students' descriptions. The analysis begins by examining the results of students' essays and grouping the interference data of words and vocabulary. The data source of this research is the composition of the seventh grade students of SMP Penda Tawangmangu. From the results of data analysis obtained three results of this interference include phonological interference, morphological interference, and lexicon interference. The first is phonological interference written by students in the form of the use of the words palm, type, set, gapurone, facilitation, atmosphere, satune, misale, writing, suhune, visitors, around and many more. These words are a combination of Javanese words with Indonesian affixes and vice versa Indonesian words with Javanese affixes. The second is the morphological interference written by the students in the form of the words ndayak, greeting, no, wide. While the third interference lexicon contained in student essays in the form of words ndak. These words are included in the interference of Javanese into Indonesian which are found in the writings of seventh grade junior high school students at Penda Tawangmangu Junior High School.
