Abstract

The aim of the research is to examine the effect of Leverage and sell growth on profitability. This research sample is stock index companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange by using purposive sampling method. There are 33 companies selected as sample. This research used secondary data from companies annual report. This research is quantitative research using data panel regression using Eviews software. The result of this research showed that debt to assets ratio (DAR) has a positif effect and significant on return on assets (ROA), debt to equity ratio (DER) has no effect on return on asset (ROA), sell growth has no effect on return on assets (ROA).
