Abstract

Children are the next generation who will replace and hold the baton of the older generation. In order for them to become the next generation with religious morals, they must be properly and properly nurtured, guided, and trained through the educational process, especially Islamic education. Educational strategies are needed in educating children, so that students have noble personalities. This research describes the implementation of the Strategy for Islamic Education Teachers and the supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing the Religiosity of Students at SD Muhammadiyah Program Unggulan and SD Muhammadiyah Plus Malangjiwan Colomadu Karanganyar in 2019. This research is a qualitative research including the type of field research (field research). Descriptive research with a phenomenological approach. Furthermore, the analysis method used is the qualitative analysis method. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. This study found several educational strategies at SD Muhammadiyah Program Unggulan, namely; habituation education, exemplary education, kisa education and targhib and tarhib education. While the educational strategies at SD Muhammadiyah Plus Malangjiwan are; habituation education, exemplary education and targhib and tarhib education. There are two inhibiting factors and supporting factors at the SD Muhammadiyah Program Unggulan, namely; The internal inhibiting factor is the lack of tahfidz teachers, the constant change of teachers and some parents who are indifferent, while the external inhibiting factors are the influence of the family environment and the influence of technological developments, the supporting factors are adequate means of worship and the support of parents and the community. Inhibiting factors supporting factors at SD Muhammadiyah Plus Malangjiwan, namely; The factors are lack of religious facilities, filling of student worship books and lack of murajaah. While the supporting factors are the school residents and the parents of the students.
