Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze students' conceptual and procedural understanding in solving mathematical problems of the system of two-variable linear equations in terms of student learning styles. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive research design. The formal object used is conceptual and procedural understanding, while the material object is SPLDV material. The subjects in this study were six students of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Gondangrejo consisting of two students who have a visual learning style, two students who have an auditory learning style, and two students who have a kinesthetic learning style. Retrieval of data was taken from questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The results of the study showed that the students' conceptual and procedural understanding in solving mathematics problems in the two-variable linear equation system material in terms of student learning styles belonged to the low category.
