Abstract
Abstract Several previous studies have shown that final year students have low job readiness. It is important for students to have work readiness to develop themselves to achieve success, especially for final year students of the Faculty of Health Sciences who will deal directly with patients. This study aims to examine the relationship between interpersonal skills and work readiness of final level health sciences students at University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The sample in this study was 107 final year students of the Faculty of Health, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta who were selected using purposive sampling method. Data were collected using the interpersonal skills scale and job readiness scale. The results of data analysis showed the correlation coefficient was 0.398 and had a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.01) which means the higher the interpersonal skills, the higher the work readiness.
