Abstract

This study aims to describe how legal protection is for consumers who use travel transportation services during the Covid-19 pandemic. Where travel transportation business actors in running their business must pay attention to consumer rights as stated in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. In addition, during the Covid-19 pandemic, travel transportation business actors must comply with the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number PM 18 of 2020 concerning Transportation Control in the Context of Preventing the Spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). So in this study, a comparison will be presented between the conditions of travel arrangements during the Covid-19 pandemic and the norms that govern it. Through the categorization that has been adjusted to the laws and regulations that govern it, it will be obtained which travel is in accordance with the regulations and provides legal protection and does not violate the rights of consumers who use travel transportation services.
