Abstract
This study aims to describe the development strategies carried out by rattan craftsmen in Trangsan Village to produce creative products. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with a grounded theory approach. The subjects of this study were rattan craftsmen, with three sources, namely Pungky, Sarif, and Suyamto. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this study used technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the strategies applied by rattan entrepreneurs are divided into four things, namely the production strategy, marketing strategy, human resource strategy and financial strategy. The production process that is applied still uses simple tools, lack of labor, uses quality materials, and capital is used for loans. The marketing strategies applied by entrepreneurs are generally almost the same, namely by determining the marketing mix and using social media. Then in the Human Resources strategy, namely by participating in training, while in the financial strategy entrepreneurs still use manual recording in making financial reports.
