Abstract

Neck pain is a discomfort around the neck. Neck pain can also be defined as pain that is felt in an area bounded by the first thoracic spinous process and lateral neck area, while non-specific neck pain is a mechanical pain that is felt. between the occiput and thoracic one and the surrounding muscles without a definite cause. Cervical traction is believed to be able to reduce pain complaints in neck pain. Purpose of the study: To present information on the findings and conclude the article regarding cervical traction to reduce neck pain. Research Method: The method used in this research literature study is through a systematic approach to perform a simple data analysis (simplified approach), namely analyzing an experimental journal article and a randomized control trial indexed nationally or internationally.Results: Based on the results of the treatment that the researcher has done, 6 articles were obtained which can be used as an evidence base for using cervical traction. Based on a literature review of 6 research journals, it can be concluded that cervical traction relieves pain reduction. Conclusion: From the results of the study, it is concluded that cervical traction can reduce pain in neck pain complaints.
