Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) Knowing the effect of using internet media on the activeness of entrepreneurial practices 2) Knowing the effect of entrepreneurial interest on entrepreneurial practice 3) Knowing the effect of internet media use and interest in entrepreneurship on the activeness of entrepreneurial practices of Accounting education students class of 2017 Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The population in this study were all students of class 2017 accounting education program FKIP UMS as many as 250 students. The sample in this study were 67 students who were taken by random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, normality test, linearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multicolinearity test, multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, test the coefficient of determination, relative contribution and effective contribution. The conclusions of this study are: 1) There is a positive and significant effect of the use of internet media on the activeness of entrepreneurial practices. Based on the t test for internet media variables (X1), it was obtained tcount> ttable, namely 2.215> 1.668 and a significance value <0.05, namely 0.030 with an effective contribution of 6.8%. 2) There is a positive and significant influence of interest in entrepreneurship on the activeness of entrepreneurial practices. Based on the t test for the variable interest in entrepreneurship (X2), it was found that tcount> ttable was 2.080> 1.668 with a significance probability value <0.05, namely 0.042 with an effective contribution of 6%. 3) There is a positive and significant influence on the use of internet media and interest in entrepreneurship on the activeness of entrepreneurial practices. Based on the significance test of multiple linear regression or the F test, it is known that the value of Fcount> Ftable, namely 4.701> 3.13 and the significance probability value <0.05, which is 0.012. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 12.8%.
