Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of compensation, motivation and work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The data collection method was carried out through a questionnaire distributed to the administrative staff of the hospital. Orthopedics. Prof. DR. R. Soeharso Surakarta, amounting to 98 respondents. The data obtained were then processed using the PLS tool. The analysis technique used in this research is path analysis. Based on the results of research tests conducted, the test results show that the compensation variable has an effect on job satisfaction, the compensation variable has no effect on employee performance, the motivation variable has no effect on job satisfaction, the motivation variable has no effect on employee performance, the work environment variable has no effect on job satisfaction. work environment variables affect employee performance, job satisfaction affects employee performance, job satisfaction mediates the relationship between compensation and performance variables, job satisfaction mediates the relationship between motivation and employee performance, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between work environment and employee performance.
