Abstract

A gay who is suffering HIV positive needs the encouragement and motivation of life from his environment to be able to rise up and be able to carry on the next life. Compassion, mutual respect, attention is needed to re-arrange his new lives as sufferers of HIV. The purpose of this study is to find out the homosexual life motivation of gay people living with HIV, how the relationships are caused HIV. This study is using a qualitative method: phenomenological, where data collection is done by in-depth interviews. The data are obtained from 3 informants who have predetermined criteria, namely gay homosexuals with HIV. The purposive sampling technique is chosen to determine the informants in Solo. The data analysis techniques is using descriptive narrative. The results of the research could be encouragement, affection, attention, hope to each other to have strenghta to have strength for survival gay with HIV. Family and parents are also a part of their enthusiasm to survive and continue their lives. They hope it can makes their family and relatives peaceful to the motivate.
