Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) To describe the perception of the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in the subject of aqidah akhlak in shaping the character of students at MI Al Islam Gempol Jatikuwung Village and MI Sudirman Ceplukan Wonorejo, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency 2018/2019 Academic Year; 2) Describe the enabling factors and predisposing factors in the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in the subject of aqidah akhlak in shaping the character of students at MI Al Islam Gempol, Jatikuwung and MI Sudirman Ceplukan, Wonorejo, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency Academic Year 2018/2019 and the solution. This research is included in field research and the design is descriptif. The approach ofvthis research is multicasus. The object of this research is MI Al Islam Gempol Jatikuwung and MI Sudirman Ceplukan Wonorejo, Gondangrejo District in the 2018/2019 Academic Year. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation. The data is analyzed using three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in the subject of aqidah akhlak in shaping the character of students at MI Al Islam Gempol and MI Sudirman Ceplukan, Wonorejo, Gondangrejo District, Karanganyar Regency, 2018/2019 Academic Year, which includes planning and implementing morality learning. The first planning carried out by the teacher in learning Akidah Akhlak according to the 2013 Curriculum in shaping the character of students, among others, is designing the syllabus and lesson plans based on the 2013 curriculum. The second plan is planning the learning environment. The third plan is the selection of learning resources, learning media, and teaching materials. The implementation of character building in akidah akhlak learning includes modeling, habituation, and knowledge. The evaluation of akidah akhlak uses tests and nontests in written or oral form, performance observations, attitude measurement, assessment of work in the form of assignments, projects and / or products, portfolios, and self-assessments. Assessment of learning outcomes uses Education Assessment Standards and Subject Group Assessment Guidelines. The supporting factor in the process of cultivating character building values in learning akidah akhlak at MI Al Islam Gempol and MI Sudirman is support from families that motivates students to always manifest character building characteristics such as assertiveness, discipline, cooperation in everyday life. The main obstacle faced by teachers in learning akidah akhlak is related to learning media. Where teachers are still looking for what media are suitable for akidah akhlak subjects.
