Abstract
Intan Dyah Wahyu Safitri. A510160148; AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT PROBLEMATICS IN THEMATIC LEARNING CLASS I SDN 03 JATIWARNO. Research Paper. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, September, 2020. This research was conducted to: 1) describe the application of authentic assessment at SDN 03 Jatiwarno; 2) identifying teacher problems in implementing authentic assessment at SDN 03 Jatiwarno; 3) describe the solutions that have been done to deal with the problems of authentic assessment. This type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The informants in this study were the principal, grade 1 teachers and grade 1 students. Data collection techniques in this study used interview and documentation techniques. The validity of the data that has been obtained is tested using data triangulation, namely techniques and sources. The analysis technique uses data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Researchers analyze data about the application of authentic assessment and problems in authentic assessment of data presentation and data verification. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the application of authentic assessment in the 2013 curriculum at SDN 03 Jatiwarno has not been going well because teachers rarely make and implement assessment instruments; 2) teacher problems include the application of assessment to the curriculum which has various problems including the problem of time, making many and complicated instruments and teachers are not proficient in computers; 3) authentic assessment solutions in the 2013 curriculum at SDN 03 Jatiwarno have various solutions, namely teachers participating in workshops and training, discussing with professional teachers and school principals, multiplying references via books or the internet.
