Abstract
Reflective thinking is a thinking process with doubts about the efforts made to solve a problem with the desire to solve the problem until it is finished. This study will describe the reflective thinking of students with high, medium, and low mathematical abilities in the content of flat-sided shapes. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 3 students from SMP Islam Diponegoro Surakarta, each of whom was in accordance with high, medium, and low mathematical abilities. The research data were obtained using the method of documentation, written tests, interviews, and field notes. From the research, the results obtained: (1) subjects with high mathematical abilities experienced doubts and completed the test in a different way than they should be, (2) subjects with moderate mathematical abilities experienced doubts and completed the test using the appropriate way, (3) subjects with Low mathematical skills experience doubts and complete the test using the way they should but there are errors in their work.
