Abstract
Elementary school education problems are found in the Surakarta Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 community regarding the online service system. The aim of the researcher was to find the responses and barriers of the community in the industrial revolution 4.0 era to the online service system in elementary education in Surakarta. Lack of understanding of digital technology for elementary education, makes students, educators, and parents disagree. This research is a qualitative research with phenomenological research design, in-depth interview data collection techniques and documents, analyzed according to the findings of respondents' answers are expected to get the same meaning. Based on this research, results can be obtained in the form of many who disagree with the Online Service System in Elementary School Education, if you look at the current situation, blended can be accepted, the use of certain applications that are easy to access, overhaul preparation of devices, materials, including the curriculum is adjusted accordingly. digital learning and society is burdened with wasteful quota purchases, giving little guidance to the government, which should see the facts on the ground are not in accordance with the expectations of current government programs
