Abstract
The gap is the difference between the content of natural resources and demographic conditions that often occur in an area and the focus of economic development at one point in the region causes inequality between regions. An area that is the center of concentration for economic development will be more advanced, developed and the people will be more prosperous. In contrast to areas that are not the center of economic development where these areas will be more disadvantaged and the people will be relatively unpopular. Wonogiri Regency is the object of this research with analysis units totaling 25 districts. Geographically, Wonogiri Regency has the characteristics of hilly karst areas and mountains. Most of Wonogiri Regency is located in hilly areas and has dry textured soil. This condition is a challenge for the Wonogiri Regency government in development, especially in the economic sector, so that inequality does not occur. This can be an obstacle for Wonogiri Regency in the form of constraints on the mobility of people, goods and services so that it affects the economy of the district area. This study has 3 objectives, namely: 1) What is the typology of economic growth in each sub-district in Wonogiri Regency, 2) How is the economic interaction in each sub-district in Wonogiri Regency, 3) Which districts are the centers of economic growth in Wonogiri Regency. 4) Evaluating the research results with the suitability of the SWP in Wonogiri Regency. This study uses secondary data obtained from documentation. The data analysis used typology analysis, gravity, and schalogram. The results of this study are: 1) The typology of regional growth in Wonogiri Regency is divided into IV Quadrants with the average of the Districts traversed by the National road entering Quadrant I or II, while sub-districts that are on the edge or sub-districts that have low potential are included in Quadrant IV (relatively underdeveloped areas). 2) The highest interaction in Wonogiri Regency is Wonogiri District, Wonogiri District, apart from being the regional center in Wonogiri Regency, it is also supported by a strategic location so that it has high attractiveness / interaction. 3) The hierarchy in Wonogiri Regency is divided into 3 classes where Wonogiri and Ngadirojo Districts are in the highest hierarchy or class I. This has a relationship where the areas that are crossed by the national road will be more advanced because they have high per capita income, have high interaction with the regions another, and has complete facilities. 4) The suitability of the research with the division of the Urban Area Units in Wonogiri Regency can be said to be in accordance with where Wonogiri District becomes the Local Activity Center area, with the difference that is the use of the Schalogram method.
