Abstract
Studying the Al-Quran is an obligation for every Muslim, either by reading, interpreting, or memorizing it. Studying and teaching the Qur'an has been promised by Allah SWT in the form of reward, being promoted, and getting victory both in this world and in the hereafter. Many educational institutions have created Al-Qur'an learning programs, Al Muayyad Surakarta High School is one of them. Through extracurricular learning Al-Qur'an Bil Ghaib, students are expected to be able to memorize Al-Qur'an and learn tajwid as companion material. However, in its activities there are many problems. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation, problems and efforts in overcoming the problems of learning Al-Qur'an Bil Ghaib at Al Muayyad Surakarta High School for the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a field research type, with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were school principals, curriculum wakasek, Al-Qur'an Bil Ghaib teaching teachers, and Al-Qur'an Bil Ghaib extracurricular students. Data collection techniques, namely, observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using inductive patterns. Data validity test used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results showed that: (1) The implementation of Al-Qur'an Bil Ghaib learning was divided into four stages, namely: opening, core, closing, and evaluation. (2) Problems and efforts in overcoming the problems of learning the Al-Qur'an Bil Ghaib, namely, for the lack of time allocation is to increase the meeting schedule or the time allocation is added, for dense student activities is to synchronize activities between SMA, Madrasah Diniyah Wustho, and activities pesantren, for the lack of consistency of students in the Koran is to transfer extracurricular students from the Al-Qur'an Bil Ghaib to regular programs or regular programs, for lack of student discipline is to provide deadlines or deadlines for students to achieve memorization targets, for the level of student memory is to ask students to multiply their prayers, ask for prayers from both parents, and to perform salat or dzikir, for the lack of muraja'ah is to order students to attend sema'an invitations outside of school, for environmental influence is to move rooms extracurricular students of Al-Qur'an Bil Ghaib in a special room that is not tampered with ur with regular students, to achieve the target is to maximize all existing efforts by cooperating with other teachers and reducing activities that can affect the students' memorization of the Qur'an.
