Abstract
This study aims: (1) to describe the sociohistoris litterateur, (2) to describe the structure Kumpulan Sajak Dilema Melayu Patani, (3) to describe social criticism containet in the folksong from the perspective of socioliterature, and (4) to depict in the relevance as literary teaching material in high school. The research methodused is qualitative descriptive method. Technique of collecting data of this research using library teqnique. The data of this research are soft data in the from of words, phrases, clauses and sentences and discourses contained in Kumpulan Sajak Dilema Melayu Patani. Data analysis technique using technique of dealektika. Based on the research , the research concludes four things. (1) Phaosan Jehwae is a scientist, artists, and literary at Nusantara. (2) The structure, diction used are intersting and easily understood because the poet uses everyday words and besides that there are also using words in Malay. Imagery that is often used visual images and images of feelings. Majas is the most commonly used metaphor, simile and repetition. Majas is the most commonly used metaphor, simile and repetition. The theme in this poem is social and language. The mandate that life trials can take must be experienced by a nation. Feelings in this poem are sad, longing, and scared. The tone and atmosphere created are advising and patronizing. (3) Social conditions occur because the people are not happy with an unjust government, thus causing various conflicts, economic problems occur because the state property is seized by the poor in a state of poverty, Cultural problems occur because of changing times and lack of faith easily influenced by foreign cultures. (4) This research is relevant to the study of literature, because (a) the language matches the abilities of high school students, (b) its content is psychologically in accordance with the fighting spirit of high school students, and (c) socially these poems describe the state of society is being oppressed in accordance with the wishes of adolescents the same age as high school to fight for the community.
