Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) the Adiwiyata school program at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta; 2) The Adiwiyata school process at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta; 3) Monitoring adiwiyata school program at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta; 4) The influence of the Adiwiyata school program in strengrthening quality school at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta. This study uses qualitative research with a phenomenological design. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta. The data collection of this research is through observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The presence of researchers in this research is as participant observers and in-depth interviewers. The sources of this research are the Principal, Deputy Head Schools, and Students in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta. The validity of the data in this study uses triangulation of sources and technical triangulation. The results of the study showed that the Adiwiyata school program at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta was successful and well-implemented and in accordance with Ministry of Environment (KLH) regulations ), this is evidenced by the work programs and activities of the Adiwiyata school program that went well and received awards at the sub-district and city levels, then the condition of a healthy, clean, shady school and the active participation of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta elementary school students in the school program Adiwiyata so that in accordance with the vision and mission of the school. The Adwiyata school program also succeeded in strengthening the quality of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta.
