Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the entrepreneurial interest of students who came from the entrepreneurship household of XI grade students of SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students of XI grade of SMK Batik 2 Surakarta. The object of research is students interest in entrepreneurship from entrepreneurial households. Data collection techniques used include: interviews, observation, and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data, researchers used triangulation. Data analysis techniques used, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that XI grade students of SMK Batik 2 Surakarta who came from entrepreneurial households have linkage, including: (1) student involvement with the businesses owned by their parents (2) difficulties in helping to do business and how to deal with difficulties (3) Relationship teaching materials obtained in schools with direct business conditions (4) the interest that appears to do business (5) factors that affect the interest in doing business.
