This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological research design. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The presence of researchers in this study is as participant observers and in-depth interviewers. Resource persons for this research include the Principal, Deputy Curriculum, Head of the Garbage Bank, and Students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta. The validity technique that the researchers used was technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Waste Bank Development aims to create a clean school environment free of plastic waste, increase knowledge of waste management, and improve the skills of school residents. Coaching is carried out by teachers, school principals and teams in collaboration with DLH, and the Environmental Police for all school members. Coaching to students is carried out every day through speakers, vlogs, direct delivery and so on. Coaching from the school is carried out once a month or if there is something urgent that must be resolved immediately. Coaching with DLH is carried out every 3 months to innovate. Coaching is carried out according to a predetermined time by preparing materials. The obstacle is the timing of coaching with DLH. The solution to overcome this is long-distance discussion regarding the timing of the coaching implementation. 2) Implementation of religious character through the Garbage Bank, namely the school instills in students to reduce the use of plastic waste and save waste to become useful items, students save waste to the Garbage Bank, and are taught to utilize waste such as used paint buckets, sacks, plastic used oil packaging / soap for planting media. The implementation of disciplinary character is that there are schools that have school rules and programs. Most of the students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta have obeyed the rules set by the school. To accustom students to discipline, namely the school forming a cleaning team for each class, forming an environmental police, clean Friday, and a class cleaning competition. The teacher always sets an example for students to always be disciplined. SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta applies awards and sanctions to students. The methods used by the school are lectures, in person, assignments, habituation, and extra entrepreneurship. School policy in this case involves all students in the implementation of the Waste Bank. The school has the sarpras to support the sustainability of the Waste Bank program. The school's hope is the realization of the Healthy School program and the Adiwiyata program. The supporting factor for the inculcation of religious character and student discipline is the human resource of teachers, while the inhibiting factor is the inculcation of character instilled at home that is not in accordance with what has been taught in school. The impact is that students have shown concern for the environment and discipline, although there are still some students who are not good, they can still be told and will always be guided. Students have an awareness of the importance of cleanliness because cleanliness is part of faith. 3) The aspects examined in monitoring the implementation of the waste bank are the number of savers / customers in the waste bank, related to sales with relationships, and the activeness of officers. The way to assess the waste bank program is by the extent to which the customer saves, to what extent the waste bank program makes use of the waste that has been saved. Furthermore, there is an evaluation under the command of the Principal. The results obtained in the monitoring are the finding of obstacles to the discipline of officers in serving the opening hours of the waste bank program. The next result is an evaluation of activities for one year. Follow-up from the monitoring results, there is guidance for future improvements by scheduling in the short, medium and long term.
