Abstract
Abstract Al-Quran is the last holy book revealed by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to the Prophet Muhammad shalallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam as a guide for humans. Every Muslim is given responsibility by Allah subhanallahu wa ta'ala to maintain the holy book. So that not a few Islamic schools in this era make the Koran as a superior program that must be memorized by every student. This program is often known as Tahfidzul Qur’an. Various institutions and Islamic institutions prove by various facts experienced by a student who memorized the Koran can have an impact on the student in learning and even students get an award with the Koran memorization that is owned by the student. Not a few students who are able to memorize the Koran have an impact on learning achievement. Muhammadiyah 1 High School Klaten is one of the private schools that has its special characteristics with the existence of a special class for students who memorize the Koran. Where the class is named Tahfidz class. The formulation of the problem presented is how to memorize al-Quran Tahfidz class, what are the factors that influence memorization of al-Quran in Tahfidz class, how the results of student achievement in Tahfidz class, what are the factors that influence student achievement in Tahfidz class. While the purpose of this study is to describe how the process of memorizing the Koran program and identifying the factors that influence the memorization of the Koran of Tahfidz class students, describing the results of student learning achievement and identifying the factors that influence the learning achievement of Tahfidz grade PAI students. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. Data sources use primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods with deductive methods that depart from general phenomena and then draw conclusions that are specific. The results of the study can be concluded that the more frequent students take to memorize the Koran, the ability of the brain will be honed in the form of sharp and strong memories. So that students are very easy to understand, thorough, remembering the subjects. Karenasantri used to memorize foreign verses and match verses with one another, so students are very easy to understand other things, especially in school subjects. With the activity of memorizing al-Quran, the students are motivated in achieving learning achievements and actively activating. The existence of memorizing al-Quran activities, students are able to issue Arabic phonetics fluently so it is very easy to present the verses of the proposition in the Koran when learning PAI.
