Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the building structures in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. (2) describes the moral values depicted in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. (3) describing the application of the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye as teaching material in high school. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The primary data in this study is the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye, published by Republika Publisher, first printed, August 2019, with a thickness of 318 pages. Secondary data consists of articles obtained from internet sources. The technique of collecting data with library, note and see. The data analysis technique was carried out using the dialectical method. The validity of the data in this study uses data triangulation techniques and theories. Based on the analysis conducted, it can be concluded as follows. (1) the structure of the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liyeakup, theme, plot, characterization, and setting. (2) the moral values contained in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye consist of four types, among others; First, the human relationship with oneself which consists of independent moral values, forgiveness, not revenge, is responsible. Second, human relations with other humans in a social environment consisting of moral values, loyal friends, mutual cooperation, please help, be devoted when supporting, need education. Third, the human relationship with the natural environment which consists of agreed moral values and saving the land of birth. Fourth, the human relationship with God which consists of pious moral values for God. (3) implemented the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye as teaching material in high school class X1 with KD 3.11 analyzes the content of messages from one fiction book that is read. The KD was adjusted to Permendikbud number 37 in 2018.
